A leading Oil and Gas company in Kuwait is hiring for the position of Safety Officer. Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the same field. Candidates who have experience in electrical background is highly recommended.
• Responsibilities & Duties Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments. • Check factory machinery, tools, and work areas for hazards. • Evaluate the effectiveness of existing safety measures and make recommendations for improvements. • Ensure all workers wear proper safety gear (PPE) and follow safety laws. • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures. • Ensure compliance with government regulations. • Investigate accidents and incidents to identify their root causes. • Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees. • Maintain records of safety-related activities and incidents and present safety reports to management and regulatory bodies. • Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid if necessary. • Promote a culture of safety within the organization Qualifications & Skills Bachelor degree / Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety / Fire & Safety. • Relevant Safety certifications approved by the ministry.
� Perform installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of PCP Equipment. • Handle and maintain oilfield tools and equipment safely and efficiently. • Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of PCP systems, especially drive heads. • Support inspection and replacement of key components such as rotor, stator, and drive head. • Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical issues in PCP systems. • Follow operational procedures aligned with oil & gas field standards. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and operational activities. • Comply with HSE policies, procedures, and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements at all times. • Participate in safety meetings and risk assessments. • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / AutoMobile or equivalent). • 3 years of relevant experience in oilfield or mechanical maintenance How to apply: Applicant can share the cv to: Company: Oil and Gas Services.
