Job Title: Fabricator
Job Summary:
A Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and repairing metal, or other materials according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements. The role involves cutting, shaping, welding, and fitting components to create finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape materials using hand tools and machinery.
• Assemble fabricated parts and components according to design requirements.
• Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and finishing operations as needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and quality standards.
• Report material shortages, equipment issues, and production concerns to supervisors.
Preferred Skills:
• MIG, TIG, or Arc welding experience.
• Knowledge of CNC machines and fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic mathematical and measurement skills.
