Heavy driver

• The Heavy Driver is responsible for operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods, equipment, or materials to designated locations. • The role includes ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle condition, and complying with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. • Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy vehicles safely and responsibly. • Transport goods, equipment, and materials according to assigned schedules. • Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips. • Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained. • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately. • Load and unload cargo when required, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads. • Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, fuel consumption records, and other required documentation. • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures. • Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing delays. • Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate with the maintenance team when necessary.
