QA / QC Welding Inspector

Inspect welding and fabrication activities at site/workshop in accordance with approved WPS, ITP, drawings, and project specifications. Verify material identification, traceability, fit-up, alignment, and joint preparation before welding activities. Monitor welding parameters and ensure compliance with approved welding procedures. Review and verify welder qualifications and welding consumables. Conduct visual inspection of welds and coordinate NDT activities such as RT, UT, MT, and PT. Ensure proper handling, storage, and control of welding electrodes and consumables. Maintain inspection records, reports, punch lists, and quality documentation. Witness hydrotest, pressure testing, and other inspection activities when required. Coordinate with client representatives, third-party inspectors, and construction teams regarding quality matters. Identify non-conformities and assist in corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, API, and ISO requirements. Participate in internal audits and quality meetings. Ensure implementation of project quality plans and safety requirements during inspection activities.
